It sounds as though you made all of the right decisions from the start, and had an extremely fulfilling experience. I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to you, on all of your achievements thus far.

As for what I was considering, before Grade 11/12 AP Physics I was thinking that I would pursue graphic design in some form or another, but I hadn’t really looked into it all that much. Once I got into Physics, my excellent teacher opened my eyes to looking at the world in an analytical fashion, and got me hooked on problem-solving. I figured that because I was able to do well at math, physics, chem, compsci, etc., I may as well give something like engineering a shot, and return to considering graphic design if it didn’t work out

This led me to another fork in the road: physics vs. engineering. I ultimately chose engineering because I wanted something a little more practical and useful right after the B.Sc. than Physics. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my decision, though I’m still thinking I should’ve done EE instead of Comp.E.
